Let's hear it for chicks who write comics! Last night I read the first issue of User. Besides looking really slick, it was a great read. Devin Grayson, who also writes Gotham Knights, is quickly becoming one of my favorite comic book writers. Every time I read her work I'm further convinced that I want to write comics. Seriously. Unfortunately, I know nothing about that particular craft. As such, I just ordered myself a copy of The Writer's Guide to the Business of Comics. So, we shall wait and see. If nothing else, perhaps the book will inspire me to start telling stories again, regardless of which medium I choose to do so.
